Overnight Oats are one of the most simple things to make! I add mine with Chia seeds for a great texture and let my 5 year old assemble the whole thing.

Overnight Oats with Almond Extract and Chia Seeds

For this recipe, you will need a glass jar with a lid (a mason jar works best) and a refrigerator.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3/4 cup Almond Milk or milk of your choice
  • 1/4 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter optional
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Honey or Agave Syrup optional
  • 2 Strawberries sliced
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries
  • 2-3 Walnuts chopped

Instructions
 

  • In a jar with a lid, add the oats, chia seeds, almond milk, almond extract, almond butter and agave. Stir until all ingredients are blended. Put the lid on and close tightly. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours for correct consistency. Top with berries and chopped nuts and enjoy!

Notes

These individual jars will keep for up to 4 days if made ahead of time.  Easy and fun to make with the kiddos!
